NPR's Federal Funding Pipeline
Has Been Cut
Following the dissolution of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, NPR lost its primary federal funding stream — triggering layoffs, station closures, and the end of the taxpayer endorsement that gave its progressive coverage outsized institutional credibility.
